Hypnosis to Help Those who Have a Fear of Flying

Hypnotherapy has been proven to work for clients who have Fears and Phobias, including some of the most common ones such as a fear of flying in a commercial jet.

Can Hypnotherapy Help a Fear of Flying?

The use of hypnosis has long been used to treat those with aviophobia (fear of flying). In addition to providing relief from severe anxiety associated with flying, it can also reduce stress.

Flying can cause anxiety and even fear in some people, but clinical hypnotherapy has provided people with a powerful tool for dealing with this fear.

How does the process begin to help with Phobias and Fears of Flying?

The client might be asked to imagine themselves entering a building, going upstairs, and getting on an airplane, for example.

At this point, the client might be asked what they see as they travel and what it is like coming into contact with different objects in the environment. When they reach this location, they may then be told that they will begin their flight and increase their speed gradually until they reach their destination.

How Can Hypnotherapy Help with Getting Back in the Air Again?

There is a two-part process - an initial free consultation followed by a series of one-on-one hypnosis sessions to address phobia symptoms and make you comfortable with flying again.

Here's how it works:

  • You can develop a fear of flying for a number of reasons, including:
  • Your attitude towards the flight
  • Your concerns about the flight's safety
  • A feeling of apprehension about potential problems aboard the plane, such as turbulence or other potential problems
  • The person's past flight experiences, such as rough turbulence or difficulties with flying

Next, we would like to know if you have ever enjoyed flying on an airplane? What kind of trips did you take that were enjoyable or fulfilling?

Maybe you did before, or maybe you changed the way you look forward to flying. If you've flown in the past, chances are that you enjoyed it or still find it exciting.

Perhaps you're now worried about an upcoming trip, or you're embarrassed about how others perceive your fear. You're not alone. As a result, you may feel humiliated by other people's judgment, as they may accuse you of irrational fear. There is no doubt you have been told by many that flying is the safest form of travel, or that you are more likely to die en route to the airport than actually die in an airline accident.

Apparently, something triggered a change, and what we will do is help you diffuse that change.

With the help of clinical hypnotherapy, people can change their thoughts and behaviors. This is a technique often used to alleviate and release fears and phobias. Hypnosis can help reduce your fears and enable you to get back on the plane after releasing those anxious feelings about plane safety. Having fun when traveling is our goal.

As a result of feeling fear, our bodies release adrenaline, causing us to feel shaky or nervous. In hypnosis, we may not completely remove our fears, but we can discover ways to deal with them in a more constructive way so that they don't overtake us.
